Anna and Michael are love. They are strong. They are determined. They are sensible. They are perfect together.

We photographed their Engagement Session on the same day as their Rehearsal Dinner. I completely enjoyed both. We photographed the engagement session at Coolidge Park. We spent a lot of time dodging some pretty ugly rain clouds that ended up making quite a lovely backdrop. We finished the Engagement Session downtown by First Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga, you’ll also see Christ Episcopal Church in the background of some of the images. Two of my favorite Chattanooga churches. Anna and Michael’s rehearsal dinner was held at First Presbyterian Church which is absolutely enormous, really. I actually got lost going from the sanctuary to the banquet hall (oops!).

It was a lovely evening filled with speeches that made me teary eyed, made me laugh out loud, and just endeared Anna and Michael to me even more. I’m glad that I was able to photograph their dinner, it’s not something people often include in their packages but it’s definitely something that I’ll recommend more of in the future. It was wonderful capturing those moments, having the time to better learn their realtionships with their family and closest friends, and getting to know more about them, together, how they met and who they are.

I really fell in love with Anna and her family and with Michael and his Family. I really fell in love with the two families merged together – they’re just lovely people and I believe that Michael and Anna have amazing role models and a fabulous foundation to build their marriage on thanks to their wonderful families. .
