Meredith & Heather – a Gray Dove Wedding

Heather & Mereith’s wedding at The Gray Dove was simply magical. I remember meeting Meredith at her best friend, Jill’s, wedding almost 10 years ago at Laurelwood Farms. Meredith is one of those people who are difficult to forget. She’s gorgeous, witty, hilarious, lovely, genuine, and is just a beautiful person inside and out. I didn’t get to meet Heather until the day of the wedding but I could instantly tell how perfect they are for each other.

Their wedding day was perfect, the weather couldn’t have been better. The sky was blue with perfect white puffy clouds. Their family and friends gathered under the picturesque pavilion at The Gray Dove for their ceremony. The wedding party danced down the aisle to their officiant, who was also dancing. Meredith and Heather walked down the aisle together to say their vows to each other. A wonderful dinner followed the ceremony. We cut cake. We danced – and the first dance was spectacular – midway through their first, romantic, dance the music stopped. Heather sat Meredith in in a chair and she and her attendants had choreographed a dance routine to a mix of songs that were hilarious, sweet, and perfectly defined a mixture of love and silliness.

It could not have been a better day. The Gray Dove has a gorgeous barn and a beautiful pavilion. It rests atop of rolling hills and is surrounded by fields, fences, and gorgeous trees. I hope you enjoy looking at their photos at much as we enjoyed their wedding.
