Anna’s Bridal Session . Chattanooga Photographer

Anna is a beautiful person. Anna’s a special person. I can’t begin to tell you how many life lessons I learned from the time I spent with Anna. In many ways we’re a lot alike, both artists, both indecisive, both passionate about life and love… but there’s something about Anna that I wish I could bottle up and use for myself sometimes – her strength, her will, her incredibly optimistic outlook on life. When Anna first contacted me about photographing her wedding she couldn’t meet with me right away because she’d just had a bone marrow transplant. Her second or third bone marrow transplant if I remember correctly. So Anna booked me online and we met later. When I met Anna and Michael I adored them, I remembered her mentioning the transplant but meeting Anna, looking at Anna, talking to Anna, you’d never guess she’d ever been sick a day in her life. Anna doesn’t know it but she taught me more than I ever could have given her in return, she taught me that life goes on – no matter what’s happened in the past you just take each day at a time, take each day and love it, cherish it, make the very best of it, and don’t worry so much about tomorrow. I tend to be a worrier – an extreme worrier – so I don’t always remember that lesson – but every time I see a photo of Anna I see strength, I see joy, I see life being lived to its fullest. And I smile. And I remember to not worry so much. (And, yes, I know you’re not supposed to start a sentence with the word “And” but it’s my blog and I like it.)

Anna – thank you for being beautiful, wonderful, and for sharing so much with me. Thank you for giving me hope, sharing your story, giving me an amazing glimpse at your life and the love you share with Michael and with your family. You’re all beautiful and amazing people who I’ll never forget.
